2015 has been a great year for us here at Ormsby Street. As well as our many deals, product innovations and launches into new markets, we have also won a number of different industry awards – scroll down to the bottom of the CreditHQ website for the full list.
And we are proud to announce another to add to that list, for on Wednesday (18 Nov) we were highly commended in the BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards, in the UK Innovation and Entrepreneurship category.
The BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards are a platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence, so we are in exalted company. This year’s Awards featured 25 categories which covered: project, organisation, technology and individual excellence. The categories were open to organisations and individuals involved in IT across the public, not for profit and commercial sectors.
Paul Fletcher, Group CEO of BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, had this to say: “Congratulations to all the winners and those who were highly commended in our UK IT Industry 2015 Awards. BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, is here to make IT good for society. The Awards are a major part of this, demonstrating how excellence is being achieved across the IT profession. This year the calibre of applications we received was outstanding, but the winners stood out as exceptional and inspiring, and they should be very proud of their success.”
Our objective in bringing big data to small business is of course, to help those small businesses make informed decisions about their prospects and customers, and provide insight into their credit status and financial well-being. But who doesn’t love an award and we are delighted to add another to the trophy cabinet!
Final word on this goes to Stuart Sumner, Editor of Computing: “Well done to all the winners and those who were highly commended on their achievements. The UK IT Industry Awards are rigorously judged by a panel of experts, which truly celebrate professionalism and innovation in IT today. Every winner and runner-up represents the very best of the IT profession.”
